With more than 17 years of combined experience as an attorney and associate judge in the Ninth Judicial Circuit, Judge Chad Long brings a deep understanding of the law and the challenges facing the citizens, families, and businesses throughout the Circuit. His vision for a fair and accessible judicial system is built on transparency and accountability, ensuring that every voice is heard and every case is treated with the utmost respect.

In addition to his legal career, Judge Long is deeply involved in the community and dedicated to serving its citizens. Judge Long has served on numerous not-for-profit boards, often taking on leadership roles. He currently serves on the board of the Galesburg Community Foundation, and also continues to serve the Carl Sandburg College Foundation and Discovery Depot Children's Museum as a past chairman.
